I have a few questions for more specifics to. i know there's quite a few threads about engine swaps to diesel on this forum. i have a 1986 isuzu trooper ii with a 2.8 or 2.6l 4cyl in it now, and i want to do a turbo diesel swap. well, i have embarked on a fun and hopefully fruitful project to swap a 3.1l 4jg2 diesel into a 94 gasser. I will answer questions, but this is mostly just going to be pics. Figured i'd start a new thread to document the v6 engine swap, collect the various. the swap is currently at about 98%. there are a few of us who've done a diesel swap on here and can help. 2005 chevy silverado (gen3 ls) lm7. I have a 1994 isuzu trooper, 4bt with cpl 0730 with 41 hours on it from test facility, gm transmission adapter and flex plate,. 94 isuzu trooper 4bt conversion. The 4jg2 is a good choice, as it provides good.
